Conrad Murray crying in the courtroom: Real tears or faking for the jury?

Five of Dr. Conrad Murray’s former patients were on the stand Wednesday morning in downtown Los Angeles. The Conrad Murray attorney defense team brought individuals from around the country to testify on behalf of the competency of the man who is on trial for manslaughter. Starting off from the very beginning, the focus on Conrad Murray shifted from being a doctor to being a human. Included in the focus was the man himself sitting at the table shedding tears as the witnesses testified.
While there wasn’t any doubt the people who volunteered to be on the stand held the doctor in high regards, many court watchers are now asking if the tears shed by Dr. Murray during the testimony was fake. Getting so upset during the testimony that he continued to wipe his eyes and could be heard slightly as the witnesses talked about his quality care. Questioning exactly what Dr. Murray was emotional about, the testimony was nothing short of complimentary in regards to Dr. Murray and his practice.

Michael Jackson fans blasted the man on social media for his waterworks as he didn’t shed a tear when the image of the entertainer’s corpse was displayed by the prosecution. Noting how convenient it was to now start crying, the fans were less than impressed that the defendant was emotional in the courtroom accusing him of faking the tears to sway the jurors.
The involuntary manslaughter case against Conrad Murray continues on Thursday. Calling a short day after scheduling issues, the judge frustratingly allowed the jurors to go home early. After several final witnesses by the defense team and closing arguments, the case will go to the jury. It could be as early as Friday when the case is handed off for deliberation.
