An Aberdeen hoax caller has admitted telling coastguards he had crashed his dinghy into an oil rig.
Dale Anderson, 21, made the fake emergency calls to the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) twice on his mobile phone.
He admitted causing MCA staff annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety when he appeared at the city's sheriff court.
Sentence was deferred for background reports until next month.
A not guilty plea to a similar charge stating that he had also requested viagra during a call was accepted.
